We had to stop at the Museum of Ancient Life at Thanksgiving Point before we headed home on New Year's Day. We LOVED it!

Utah skiing 2011-2012

Jason, Carter, and I went to salt lake city with my sister and her family for new years (yes, this is a long overdue post). We had such a blast and thank Brett's brother and sister-n-law for letting us stay at their house, which included eight kids- all BOYS!

We skied at Snowbird the first day, which was very icy, hard (day before was super warm), fast, and cold. We went to Brighton the second day - much better.

Here is Carter playing at the Gateway Mall fountains in Salt Lake. It was unseasonably warm the day we arrived (12/30/2011). We need to take him back there this summer.

 Honestly, this was the best part of our day at Snowbird-the end! It was nice have a hot or cold drink and just hang out. It was a weird weather day.

Hogle Zoo

We headed to SLC on a not so nice rainy day for Hogle Zoo. 

We were ready to be rained on. I swear, the minute we parked, it stopped raining. No crowds made it a perfect day!

 I believe Carter enjoyed the carousel and the real gorillas we saw the most.

We can't wait to go back to see the polar bear exhibit. We missed the opening by one week.

Carter turns 3

Carter turned the big 3 in April!
 We finally invited a bunch of kids for the event this year and what fun we all had. 

He got a brand new trampoline! He didn't want to come inside to open presents or eat cake.
