Okay, first I'm very sad Idaho decided to skip straight from winter to summer. There was no spring, which btw, is my favorite season. So....to bring a little color and spring into my life, I decided to buck up and get something done. I've lived at my house for over 2 and a half years now. I've always had a nice clean spare bedroom and bed for guests, which has been used quite a bit. However, it's never looked all that appealing. Pretty boring really. Well, I'm not going to paint the walls (no time for that), but I did a little decorating. Well, really all I did was buy some tables and accessories and hung a few things. Anyway, I'm very pleased with the results. The best part is I cut up a painting I did in 9th grade (it was my favorite water color then) and put it in a frame, which I think looks quite nice. Keep it simple stupid applies to sprucing up a room with just a bit of color to make it not so ordinary, while keeping it simple...KISS.
My Dad, which I'm doing back flips that he is coming to visit, will be the first to stay in the room since the makeover (kidding, not really a makeover). I'm sure he won't even notice. :-)
