First ride on the "El" train. Headed to Wrigley Field.
First Cubs game. He could clearly care less.
Hi there Tom!
Headed back to the train to go to our hotel. He was so excited to leave.
My Aunt Carrie, Uncle Chris, cousins Kevin and Lauren, and Kevin's girlfriend Cassie, were kind enough to meet us at Navy Pier for a quick visit. Here is Aunt C making burping noises trying to get a smile out of Carter. Love it!
Carter and Lauren
The Young's and Montgomery's. Thanks for driving into the city to meet up with us for a few short hours!
My step mom Lisa and Dad hosted the family reunion for Lisa's family this year. They are such a fun and amazing group - one big Polish family! They try and have the reunion every two years in a different city. I've been attending since I was a young girl. I've been to Rome, NY several times, Denver, CO, and two years ago was my first visit to San Diego, CA for the reunion.
Handsome guys. Above: Jason and my little brother Jackson. Below: little brother Tom.
Above: My sweet, pretty, little sis Celia, and Dad and Lisa
Carter was a hit with all the "kids" - both big and little
Lisa's sweet Mom on the right, Virginia
We had to visit the Kohl's children museum with Grandpa John since he worked on it with his masterful carpentry skills years ago.
Chicago Field Museum
Jason and Carter walking up the stairs
Swimming in Lake Michigan at the boat. He finally got in and had a blast!
It was SOOOOO nice flying to Chicago with Jason this time. Ten times easier than just Carter and I. Although, Carter and I did have to fly home by ourselves since Jason has a newer job and left a few days before us.
Orange juice. Or, is it espresso?
A Ben & Jerry's smoothie for our morning flight home. What a lucky kid!
