Getting closer

So, I know I should just post pics of the final product, but it must be the Project Manager in me that loves to post status updates for each phase I complete of the baby's room. I just love how its coming along. Its getting close, but we are not quite done yet. Almost.

wait a minute

So, I'm the night owl of the family. Jason usually goes to bed first since he is either getting up super early for surgery (@ 5:30 am) or to hike/ski (@ 6-7 am) Pebble with Juan on the weekends. This is what I usually find when I go to bed. Maggie in my spot. At least she keeps it warm for me. I think its really cute, but its probably because I love the girl so much. :-)

Simply Amazing

My co-workers (some of my greatest friends) threw me another shower today. I just wanted to say thanks to Bobbie and Connie for doing this and to all my amazing co-workers (friends) for coming and giving me more than I deserve. I especially enjoyed everyone bringing their little ones. It was so fun! Again, I am so blessed.

Progress

With only 35 days to go, some progress has finally been made on the room and crib. We still have quite a ways to go to get the room ready, but I'm just happy the crib is assembled and up. I love it so much!!

Baby Shower

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who attended, planned, and helped me celebrate this little baby boy in my belly at my baby shower on Saturday. I have such amazing family and friends! I was overwhelmed with JOY at my baby shower. I cannot believe how many people came to help welcome this little baby into the world. And, the gifts...I'm at a loss for words on how generous and smart (for all the things first time parents don't think of or know about) everyone is. I cannot express my thanks enough. Jason and I are so blessed. I love all of you!

I only got pictures at the very end after only my closest friends and Mom and sis were still around. Lynda, I hope you got some good ones when all the other people were there too!
