The Graduate

Jason graduated with his Master's of Science in Nursing in March and passed the much dreaded Board exam just last week. He is officially a Nurse Practitioner!!

He has been so dedicated to studying and balancing life over these past two years. I don't know how he did it with work, school, and still managing to be a great Husband and Father, but he did it! He is so smart and is going to make the most amazing Nurse Practitioner.

Jason will not be attending graduation since it's in Ohio, not that he attended graduation for his Bachelor's either, right here in Idaho. So, here is what I'm pretending is his grad photo. This photo cracks me up. I think it was first taken in 2007 when he was a SNAP (Student Nurse Apprentice) at the hospital right before he finished his BSN. Anyway, he used the same pic for his Bearcat ID, which hung on his white coat when he started his clinicals over a year ago. I thought I had a pic of the first day he wore his white coat, but I don't. Oh well.
Carter and I couldn't be more proud of you. We love you!
